The centenary of Nelson Mandela’s birthday this year has been marked as a very special occasion around the world. For ICT-Works this was even more so because on this very special day we saw our CEO, Xoliswa Kakana and one of our board members, Adv Louisa Zondo achieve yet another remarkable feat as they both summitted Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. After months of gruelling training amidst their already very demanding schedules, this was a personal goal that not only took a lot of them to achieve but also gave them much in terms of introspection, an opportunity to reflect on the strength of the human will as well as the not to be missed opportunity to fly the ICT-Works flag on the summit of the highest peak in Africa. The whole of ICT-Works as well as their family and friends were delighted to receive the summitteers back at the OR Tambo international arrivals terminal to congratulate the pair on their immense achievement.
